Those that Stink Together Stick Together

On our way back home from Florida we stopped in Texas to visit my grandma Gilbert. It was good to see her again. We couldn't resist from taking a picture sitting on the John's in the words of my grandma. This picture definitely has a lot more potential but we were in a hurry so we just hurried and sat down and had my grandma take the picture of us on the toilets. Some of my grandma's and grandpa's most quality time is spent right here, ha ha. Who would have thought! Isn't that hilarious.
We also stopped by in Denver. We had a good time boating with the Smith Family and then we went golfing with Chad's buddy Landin Smith. We also went to the Rockies game while we were there thanks to Landin. We had a blast with Landin and his family. Thanks to the Smith family for everything. They really are such great people. They made us feel so welcome. So we had a little detour on our way back home to Utah, but it was worth it. We got out in time before the hurricane hit Florida. We hit one more stop before home, we went to Bear Lake and relaxed for a bit. We have had such a great summer. It feels good to be back in Utah again, Home sweet home.

Huguenot

A Good Time

Yesterday we had a good time with good company and in a good environment at a place called Huguenot. It was a fun beach to visit to just relax and spend time with some friends. We tried a little skim boarding, I am not good at that but I like to try. Then we enjoyed the sunset and roasted hot dogs and made smores. Chad and I cooked tin foil dinners with steak, potatoes and carrots it was so yummy, well it would have been better if it wasn't so black but it was still edible. It was a little too over done. I love visiting the beach. There is just something about it. I better enjoy it while it lasts. I can't believe that the summer is almost over. It is winding down. I am excited to go home though. I missed my family yesterday. They were all at Bear Lake celebrating my dad's birthday. I wish I could have been there. Happy Birthday Dad. I love you! I am excited to see them all again. Chad and I really have enjoyed it here in Florida though, we just miss our home. We have had a good time. I am glad that we got to have this experience to live here and make such good friends.

Ginnie Springs

Chad and I went to a neat park with natural springs called, Ginnie Springs last weekend. It is such a beautiful place. The water was so crystal clear and very cool. I really enjoyed visiting this place. It was neat to see. We just snorkled in the springs played some frisbee and football and just hung out. The best part was on our way there. It was quite the adventure. We got lost. It took us way too long to get there. I especially got a kick out of Bridger's happy attitude on the way down and then when we got there. Talk about a traveling butthead in the words of the Towners. It was hilarious. You gotta love the Bridge. He is just so funny.

Ormond Beach

Chad and I spent some time at Ormond Beach near Daytona yesterday. Chad has been working so hard so we took a break after he got a sale. We played a little frisbee and tossed the football around. It was fun. I am proud of Chad and for how hard he has been working selling security systems with APX. He has put forth his heart and soul into selling this summer and he is doing Awesome! He has learned persistence, endurance and has developed an even greater work ethic, more than he had before he came. This is not any easy job that's for sure. I don't know how he does it. Thanks Chad for all that you do. I want you to know that I love you very much and I look up to you. You are such a great example to me of always keeping your eye on your goals and for staying positive and keeping a good attitude even during the most rough times. I love you Babe. Keep up the good hard work that you are doing.
