Happy New Year

Hope you all had a very happy New Year. We enjoyed spending time with our families over the holidays. We had a fabulous lunch at Rodizio Grill down town with our friends, the Shurtliffs, Olsens and the Dyers. We ate dinner at Chad's Grandpa's on New Years Eve and then welcomed in the new year at my parents. We had fun eating, laughing and playing games with each other. We sang happy birthday to my mom after midnight. I love my mom! she is the best. I hope you had a happy birthday mom. Thanks for all you do. It was fun to spend time with my grandma from Texas. She is a hoot!
Christmas Eve at the Towners. I was Mary this year because I was great with child and Chad was Joseph for the Nativity.

All the girls
Shannon had me this year for the gift exchange. I love my bath salts and pillow and my jewelry gift card. Thanks Shan! Chad had her and we made her a sweet magnet board. We just need to set it up for her in her house.

Once again, Chad and I had a very Merry Christmas with each other and our wonderful families. Chad surprised me Christmas morning with a pearl ring that I wanted but didn't expect it at all, a new shirt and shoes, and our favorite, turtles with macadamia nuts. He out did himself. I told him I didn't want him to get me anything. You know how that goes. He wrote me a sweet note and I got all emotional as I read it. He is so good to me. I wasn't expecting anything and of course he went out of his way to make sure I had something to open on Christmas Morning. He is so sweet. I was crying the other day because I didn't know what shoes to wear because mine all stink and have holes in them and Chad bought me some new ones, that was thoughtful. I love them too and my new shirt. He said that "I have to have a new outfit to wear on Christmas." He is so cute. I love him so much. Thanks for making my morning so special Chaddy. He made me our favorite, eggs and chirezo with tortillas and black beans for breakfast. It was a good time together. Unfortunately we were rushed to eat because Jordan ended up calling sooner because he had a baptism so we hurried over to the Towners place to talk to Jordan at 12.

Our families were all very generous to us. Our parent gave us some nice gifts on Christmas day, once again we were spoiled. We had a nice dinner at my parents on Christmas day. My grandma Gilbert and Aunt and Uncle Tommy and Richelle and my cousins were in town from Texas to spend Christmas with us this year, it was fun to see them and spend some time with them again.
