Happy Easter

I have always loved Easter Sunday. It is a great day to reflect on our Savior's life and his sacrifice for us all. I love this gospel and I am so grateful for it and for the knowledge that I have of my Saviors life. I love my family. I always look forward to the family gatherings. Happy Easter! Grammy and our Jude boy. Thanks Mom for the yummy Easter dinner. We love you!

Jude is 1 Week Old

I can't believe my baby boy is already 1 week old. He has changed so much already. I just know he is going to grow up way too fast. I am going to treasure these moments that I have while he is young. It is so fun to just cuddle with him after I feed him. Chad and I just can't get enough of him. He is so cute. I love it when he is wide awake and so alert. I knew that Chad was going to be the best Dad, but I had no idea that he would be this amazing. He has changed more diapers than me, he will get up and help me in the middle of the night with feedings and diaper changes. He even offered to take the 4:00 shift to feed to help me get more sleep which I took him up on once and it was so nice. I pumped a bottle so that Chad could feed our son. I am trying my best to just breast feed as much as I can right now. It is definitely not easy to breast feed. Jude and I are doing so much better. He eats like a champ. I am lucky that he picked it up so well. Chad is such good help doing the dishes and cleaning up after meals, He loves dressing our son and picking out his outfits, He sings to our son his lullabies. It is so fun to see Chad as a Dad. It is so cute how he admires our son so much. He is so protective of Jude and so careful with him and he is definitely more cautious about washing his hands and exposing our son to unwanted germs. The tables have turned, ha ha. I am not the germ a phobe now! He even put up a sign on our door to remind visitors to wash their hands. So thoughtful! I just love my boys. I have the best supportive husband ever and the cutest baby boy.

It is definitely a lot of work being a Mother. It has been overwhelming but it is so amazing. I never knew how much I would enjoy being a Mother. I don't know what I would do with out my Husband Chad. He has been so helpful. I am lucky to have him nearby helping me care for our son. We are learning together. I knew it would be a lot of work and it is. I couldn't do it with out Chad. I love him so much! I got emotional and started crying in the car the other day on my way to the dentist when a song by Rascal Flats, "I won't let go" came on the radio. It just made me think about how amazing my husband is and how much I love him. I am so grateful for all that Chad does for me.
