A Weekend with The Towner Family

Every year the Towners look forward to a good time up in Heber at the Cabin. It is a good time full of laughs, sweets, games, snow, sledding, snow angels and good company. We celebrated Mitchell's Birthday on Friday Night December, 18th and then Christi Anne's Birthday is on the 23rd and we celebrated her birthday on Sunday. I enjoyed all of the baking with the girls. Anita, Chad's Mother is quite the holiday cook. She shared with us all of her amazing christmas recipes. We made candy cane bark, sweet almonds and pecans, candy apples, carmels, butterscotch crisps. We had a lot of fun together as a family. It was hilarious when we all played sardines friday night. Chad and Anita hid in the tub thinking they found me and then realized after sitting in the bath tub for a few minutes that I wasn't in there. Ha ha!

A little bit of Temple Square

The Towner Family, December 12, 2009
Me and Kenzi

Every year I look forward to going downtown to visit temple square during christmas time. This is the only place where you can feel the true spirit of christmas and remember what it is really all about, the Savior's birth. I love it. We went downtown with the Towners to enjoy the lights, nativity scene and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir christmas concert with Natalie Cole.

Me and my newest nephew, Lincoln. Natasha was a good sport. She wasn't feeling the best afterwards, she was in pain. Here she is trying to show her happy face. She looks so good for just having a baby!
Lincoln Bridger Thomas
The Proud Father

Last Night Natasha had her baby. It is crazy that my little sister is a Mommy already. She beat me to it. I saw it coming though, once she got married. I had a feeling that her and Bridger could have there first before Chad and I. She will make a great Mother. I am happy for her and Bridger. They are gonna love him so much. He was born last night Sunday December 13 at 7:50 PM at Jordan Valley Hospital. He was 7 lbs. 15 oz. and 19 inches long.

Our House

We did it! We finally got our house. We closed on our house and signed the papers on Tuesday November, 3. This has been such a long process for us, to make this happen. With out my husbands hard work, dedication and perseverance and the Lord's hand this would not have happened. Thank you Chad! for everything you do for us. I am so happy to finally have my own home. Even though the banks have made it hard to get loans, we finally made it happen. Where there is a will there is always a way! We are grateful for this experience. This experience has been a test of our faith and our patience. We have learned so much. This has been an answer to our prayers! Thank you to everyone who has supported us and helped us make this happen. Thank you to my parents (especially my parents), you are the best. Now you can have your home all to yourself, you are officially empty nesters. We are out of the basement! Yeah! We really were so fortunate to have stayed in the basement thank you, but now it is time for us to go. Thank you Eric! he saved us and thanks to our families for all your prayers, love, and support. We really do appreciate it. Unfortunately we can't move in until November 17th but I am just relieved that we finally closed and it is officially ours, yeah!

Coming Soon! Pictures of our new home.

Jordan's Farewell

Farewell Jordy! The night he got set apart. November 3rd.

Good byes are never easy, especially for the Towner Family. It is a bitter sweet sending off a Missionary. For the Towner's this will be the 6th time they have sent off a missionary and it never got any easier saying good bye. I think it may have been harder each time, for the family to say good bye. It really isn't good bye it is just, a see you later, in 2 years! For some in the family it is like a funeral when saying farewell to a missionary. It is really hard for the Towner's because they are all best of friends. They are such a close family. We wish Jordan the best while serving a mission in Argentina. He will be an amazing missionary. We will keep him in our prayers! We will miss Jordan's beaming face and fun personality, his jokes and sense of humor. It won't be the same without our Jordy around. He is so fun to be around. He is doing the good thing to do, serving the Lord, by sharing the gospel with those he meets in Argentina. I am so proud of him.
We Love Jordan! He will be missed. See you in 2 years Jord!
Jordan and Lexi. The night he got set apart. Oh, I feel for them.
Sunday, October 25th, Jordan gave his farewell talk.

The day Jordan went to The Temple, Saturday October 24th.

Halloween

The Girls
La Senorita and The Mexican Player, Jose AKA Eric and Jenn
Where is Waldo and Girlfriend, Wenda AKA Brandon and Christi Anne
Kanye West and Taylor Swift
GREASE LIGHTINING! Danny and Sandy AKA Jason and Kenzie
John Smith and Pocahontas AKA Jordan and Lexi
Leonardo! Ange

Chad got this crazy idea to dress up as Kanye West and Taylor Swift. So here it is, we went to our family Halloween party dressed up as them. Chad is Hilarious. It was a fun time. The rest of the family had some pretty good Costumes. Eric and Jenn were the best. I could not help but laugh every time I looked at them.

Pumpkin Carving

We carved pumpkins for family night with the Towners on October 26th. It was a good time. I made a deal with Chad that I would do the dirty work if he did the carving. ha ha. Chad did a really good job! We had some creative pumpkins. I have never been into pumpkin carving but I am open to it. I would like to make it a tradition each year to carve pumpkins because it really is a fun activity to do.
