I am proud to say that I finally got a teaching job at a fairly new charter school, Mountainville Academy in Alpine. I am super excited! I can't even tell you how excited and how relieved I am. All of my hard work paid off and it happened just in time. This just proves that, when there is a will there is a way! I have been searching for a teaching job since last December, after I graduated. I was fortunate enough to get hired as the teacher assistant at Orem Jr. High after I graduated and now I will soon be Mrs. Towner at Mountainville! It is actually a crazy job that I will be doing and it wasn't easy to get. It first started out as a part time job and then I worked it into a full time teaching position. It just all worked out perfectly, a full time teaching position is what I needed. I will be teaching one period of 7th grade Health, Elementary Computers, 7th grade TLC, and finally when I am not teaching I will be working with the special needs children as an aide and doing lunch detention. I have my work cut out for me, I think. Hey it is a job! I am so blessed and I thank my Heavenly Father!! I can't believe I actually pulled it off and I know that I didn't do it alone. I have felt the Lord's tender mercies in my life. This struggle of getting a job has been so hard, but I have learned so much from this experience and it has strengthened me even more.
