Atlanta Adventures

The 4th of July at Stone Mountain
We really missed being home with our family celebrating. We'll just say we didn't have such a Happy 4th of July. We tried but it was just not the same away from home. We went to this park thinking it would be a blast but it was just way too crowded to do anything. Maybe under different circumstances, not on a holiday this place would be fun. The stone rock is cool. This place has picnic areas and grills to bbq, hiking, a lake and a golf course, ropes course and a sky ride. It sounds entertaining, right. We didn't want to pay for the whole day pass that includes a lot of it so we didn't stay. I wanted to hike up to the top of the stone mountain but it was way too hot so I didn't even care to do it. I mostly wanted to come to see the fire work show and laser show later that night, but it was crazy trying to find a spot to sit and we didn't want to stay 5 hours until it started so we left. They closed the park once it got so full and so that is why we left so early to get in before they stopped letting people in and we hoped to spend the day there, so much for that. I know Chad was bummed because we wasted time that could have been spent golfing. Once we decided to go golf the course was already closed. It closed early. We mostly just ate lunch and left. We went to get a Blizzard and then went to the pool and ended the night watching Lost, season 2. The Zoo is always fun to go visit. We just try to think of things to do.
"Can't Be Tamed"

It was so funny when this Gorilla came up to the window and gave us a view of his butt and squatted and peed right in front of us. Hilarious.

The Coke Factory

Got lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. Love this place. I had a little surprise when I took a bite of Natasha's hibachi steak. I bit down on a piece of metal embedded in the steak. I thought it was a bone at first then spit out a round silver thing that looked something like a bolt. That was crazy. Can you believe that? That could have been bad. Natasha and I both got our meals free!
The Georgia Aquarium. This place was neat. I really enjoyed it. I saw the biggest fish and whales that resemble dolphins, sharks, and sting ray.
