April Fools

So I played a great April fools joke on my Husband Chad today, almost as good as last years when I was pregnant. It was good, because I so had him and it was believable. I told Chad that I wanted to go back to working. I told him that I missed teaching more than I thought and that it has been hard being home all the time with Jude. I said that Mountainville Academy has a job opening and that they want me to come back. Ha ha! He totally fell for it and was sad. This is so not true. I love being home raising my son. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else and I feel so blessed to not have to work so that I can give our son Jude the best, which is his Mommy! I know that it is possible to work outside of the home and balance motherhood, and some may choose to, but I would not choose it. I don't know how they do it! I feel like it would be hard for me to give 100% at both jobs if I was working still. I think it is a sacrifice to have a Mother in the home with her children. I am grateful that my husband Chad works so hard to provide for our family so that I have this opportunity to be home nurturing and caring for our son. Chad and I feel very strongly that it is important that one of us is there in the home watching and raising our children. We appreciate all of our family and friends love and support and for helping us with Jude and with being a new Mom and Dad. I love being a Mother! There is nothing more rewarding.

Zumba

I finally Joined the Party! I feel good! I did it! I finally got certified in Zumba yesterday. I don't know why I put this off for so long. I love this workout. This workout is so fun that it doesn't even feel like I am working out. I am so excited to start teaching Zumba. I am determined to make it happen. I will. I better go practice and get ready for my first class. I will let you know when to come join the party and Zumba with me.

The Power of Nutrition

Everyone needs to watch this video. It will be worth your time, I promise.

I love this video because it shows the good that nutrition can do. This Doctor cured her own disease by her diet. This proves how powerful nutrition is and how important it is that we get adequate nutrients in our diets. It is no secret that in order to live a happy healthy life, is to eat a healthy diet and to be active each day. I firmly believe this. So why don't we all do this? It takes self- discipline, hard work, planning and preparation and it is more costly, but well worth it for good health. This video is a good reminder for me. I want to commit to a new year of eating a diet filled with more fruits and veggies first. I try to be healthy by having a good diet but I need to do even better. I can do more and this is motivation. I wish everyone a happy healthy new year!

Happy 10 Years in the Caribbean

Chad and I celebrated our 10 year dating anniversary on December 7th in the Caribbean on a cruise. Because of Chad's hard work this summer we were able to go on this cruise, December 3-10th. Thanks baby! I love my Hubby so much. Chad means so much to me. I feel so blessed to have the incredible, loving husband that I have. We had the time of our lives on the cruise. We spent time; on the dance floor, in the sunshine, eating ice cream, kissing stingrays in Grand Caymen, walking up Dunn River Falls in Jamaica, so funny we just about lost our swim suits, us girls. We also had fun kayaking in the Bahamas. We had the time of our lives! Thanks again Chad for the best time ever, again!! Happy 10 Years! I am so glad that I met you when I did. I love you lots!

Happy Thanksgiving

It was a pleasant surprise to see my grandma Lavon. She met Jude for the first time.

We had a very nice dinner at the Symes place and then we spent time at the Towners later.

Chad and I celebrated our Happy 27th Birthday! I can't believe it. We are getting so old. I had a special day. Went to Breaking Dawn with my Mom and my sisters and then went out to dinner. Chad spoiled me once again. He gave me a gift card to Forever 21 to go shopping. Yay!
